Our Story

Business Embassy was founded by Kathleen Tierney in 2015 to specifically serve Australian businesses. We are Your Go To Experts for business improvement, HR services, and policies, procedures and templates. Our experts have been serving businesses throughout Australia since 2008 under the banner of our flagship company, Career Embassy. We have worked with and worked for owners and managers in a range of industries.


Our parent company, Career Embassy, started in February 2008. Kathleen Tierney saw the need to share the lessons-learned in large corporations with businesses of all sizes. Business Embassy was formed to go beyond Career Embassy’s HR focus and to deliver business improvement to all businesses. Our parent company, Career Embassy, continues to perform international executive recruitment, HR support, mentoring, workforce management, and leadership coaching.

Executive Director

Kathleen Tierney is the Executive Director and Owner of Business Embassy and its parent company, Career Embassy. She has a Bachelor of Business, an MBA and over 20 years of executive experience. Kathleen has lived and worked in Melbourne, Sydney, USA, and the UK. She is now based in Perth, Australia.
